This movie aired in late 2010 or 2011 , yet Cult status may be nearing any day now, " RUBBER ". This
movie was about to begin, just as I was sitting down for the evening cable show. It was actually a
primiere movie , so I watched with anticipation. This movie is sorta " campy " , but worth the LOL
or disgust, whatever comes first.

The series " Dark Shadows " ,original set in the 60's or 70's. Forego Ben Cross and other pretenders.
This is the original Vampire series , with Barnabas Collins ( vampire ) and Angelique ( witch ). Some-
how it claimed soap opera / love story status. I mean, really, aren't most series ?

" Seinfeld ", a very thought provoking and witty series, starring Jerry Seinfeld.

" Being Human " isn't vintage, but it's owned it's place among Cult Classics. It's still airing on BBC,
and new season beginning this autumn. The story involves a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire.

Yes, YvyB Matthew Macfadyen = yum, like everything he does, even Musketeers with Ray Stevenson.  Of course Excalibur! But my all time fav is Gone with the Wind.

I had no idea that Tarrantino was responsible for " Inglorious Basterds ", I mentioned it in earlier post because it

is a brilliant film. Having watched it again , on cable, it was clear that this one deserve's a win. Michael

Fassbender , Diane Kruger , and a few other notables , rounded out that stellar cast.

As for " Kill Bill 2 ", the actor that portrayed Bill's ( Carradine ) brother, also starred in " Thelma and Louise ".

He was sort of a " Elvis " lookalike, and was Sarandon's beau in the movie. His reparte with Darrryl Hannah,

in KB2 was pretty good too.

Know What ? I'm gonna clarify ( for the record ), that "Cult Classics" of any type are allowed here. So go
ahead and mention them . If a lengthy discussion is warranted on that subject, open up an appropriate
forum Topic in Television , if it happens to be a long running series.

I actually despise Tarrantino films, lots of violence without a compelling story (although I did enjoy Once Upon a Time in Mexico) and he's the guy responsible for giving the world Spy Kids and Shark Boy and Lava girl. But Inglorious Basterds is something uniquely special! Christopher Waltz possibly did the best acting of all time in that movie. OE that's a bingo!

Michael Madsen, Virginia Madsen's brother, like them both.  She is in Dune.

It was a bit garbled ....I was suggesting the movie called " Rubber ", it played at theatres in 2011 or 2010.

" Dark Shadows " and the other mentioned , are BBC classics . I saw the original broadcasts by purchasing them

at Amazon.

Does anybody here like the Blind Swordsmen movies (Zatoichi)? Jaqen and I love those, they're quietly powerful but you have to be in the mood to read subtitles so they are a rare treat.

Here! I love Takeshi Kitano movies, especially Zatoichi. His way of showing blood and violence is quite original. Love him as a director and as an actor.

Not so much was that film Gondry, its Charlie Kaufman. His writing is the best. "Being John Malcovich" and "adapatation" are stellar as well

Confession time: I must be the only human in existence who hated Being John Malkovich. Probably because I loathe John Malkovich. disbelief To me he's one of the most overrated actors that I have ever seen. I look at him and he always looks like he had dung for breakfast.

But Adaptation was wonderful!
