Personal predictions how season 7 will play out.

-The finale of season 7 will most likely have the WW get past the wall, thats a given.
-We have lots of flashback goodies from Bran
-Dany won't have smooth sailing to Westeros, she might get intercepted by Euron's brand new stone fleet hehe vic
-It might be an all-out war between the Lannisters/Martell's/Tyrell's and Dany sweeping in too, should be fun! Blackwater 2.0 maybe?
- Not certain what will happen in the North, all the Northern houses have rallied back with the Starks. Maybe conflict will arrise since Littlefinger felt slighted by Sansa. His scheming was over 9000 at the King of the North part 2 meeting.

I think Dany will not have smooth sailing, Euron will be a bigger threat to her than she imagines and will probably take her a couple of steps back.

At King's Landing and Winterfell we'll get a sibling rift, but I'm not sure how that will carry all of season 7 till it all explodes (the Wall coming down, Dany marching to King's Landing).

I also have no idea where Arya's going except that I'm pretty sure she'll meet up with the Hound, the BWB, Melly Sanders and Gendry throughout season 7 before reuniting with her family.

Bran reaching Wintefell woth the knowledge from the Tower of Joy is a given, and I think that'll be the item that finally settles the Jon/Sansa rivalry- Jon shouldn't just be King in the North, he should be the King on the Iron Throne- and that means Sanda and Bran get Winterfell (given that Bran can have no children, Sansa is responsible to produce an heir). So I think Jon goes soul-searching and has a sort-of identity crysis in season 7, which will end with him accepting his Targaryen heritage after meeting Howland Reed or Wylla which is clearly the wet-nurse in Bran's vision. As for Sansa and the North in general... I hope they don't end up treading water while waiting for the Wall to collapse. I imagine Littlefinger's scheming will be cruicial to making all that interesting, and I think Sansa will have Baelish killed at Winterfell- finally choosing famuly over her own ambitions (which she has been failing at since season 1).

Sam I think... can't just carry a storyline of his own, and he can't have three scenes again either. So I think his story will be more of a focal point in season 7 where a lot of storylines collide. You don't just introduce Oldtown and throw that away. Geographically speaking, it is by far the biggest and richest port city that stands between Euron and Dany (including Lannisport) which might make it a viable target for the Ironborn scum, and might be where Dany launches her attack against him. It would also make sense to get reintroduced to Euron in season 7 through Sam, rather than him just appearing to be killed by Dany.

If not this way, I think Euron will have to make a pact with Cersei- and maybe season 7 will build up to a big Battle of King's Landing from the start. Dunno.

Some thoughts:

-I wonder where are they taking the Bronn character. He didn't get much to do this season, partly because Jerome Flynn was busy with Ripper Street, and also because he has no one to interact with, apart from Jaime, that is. (supposedly he's in bad terms with Lena Headey and the show runners keep them separated to avoid drama). According to Flynn, Bronn isn't Jaime's friend, and is only with him expecting his reward (the lordship, castle and the pretty wife). When his former boss and friend arrives with Daenerys, I can see Bronn switching sides and ditching the crumbling Lannister reign to go support the Targaryens and back with his Imp buddy.

-Dunno if Daario will keep his promise and the peace in Meereen. He took it like a champ (getting dumped by Dany), but it remains to be seen if he'll be loyal to the end. Maybe he will, with only 13 episodes left, there's no time to waste in more Meereen nonsense.

-Some people had doubts about Mel getting killed at Winterfell due to her telling Arya they would meet again. It seems they were right and that particular vision is coming true. So Arya is slaying Melisandre? Maybe Arya will kill Thoros and Beric too, since they were in her list (back in S4 anyway). The Hound takes command of the BWB. From there, they may go North to reunite with Jon and the Stark army, or go south so Arya can keep erasing names form her list. Maybe Nymeria will make a come back.

-Sadly, I don't see Jaime abandoning Cersei right away. My guess is that he'll remain by her side to lead the Lannister forces against the Targaryen/Tyrell/Dorne alliance, and that battle is already lost, tbh. When Cersei goes full Aerys, he'll kill her, thus fulfilling the valonqar part of the prophecy.

-Maybe Euron will come to join forces with the Lannisters in order to crush Yara and Theon, or maybe he'll get roasted unceremoniously. Wouldn't be the first time that happens in the show (e.g. Hotah, Doran).

-I don't think Jon has any interest whatsoever in the Iron Throne, so even if Bran reveals to him who his real parents were, I don't see him marching south to oppose Dany's forces. I think he'll remain in the North, where the showdown with the Night's King is expected. Now with the support of all the Stark bannermen, the Night's Watch won't be a tiny force alone in the fight.

-Dany's vision in the House of the Undying will come true, I suppose. Either by dragonfire or Wildfire, the Red Keep will blow up. Perhaps Jaime will die then, whatever ends up happening.

-I can't imagine what'll happen with Sam in the Citadel storyline. People already know the White Walkers are weak to dragonglass, and Bran will surely tell Jon about their origins. So...what then? Will he find information about the Night's King or something of the sort? Then teleport to the Wall to help their Night brothers? Not sure. I think he being in the Citadel is just a way to keep him and Gilly out of harm's way, storywise.

-We'll get more of Bran's visions, for sure. Maybe something of Robert's Rebellion, or "The prince that was promised" scene. Something else with Rhaegar and Lyanna, so we see she wasn't kidnapped and/or raped.

-Maybe we'll find out if Sansa's indeed pregnant with Ramsay's child, but I think she's not.

-Jorah will return, cured from his greyscale (maybe?). Or perhaps he won't find a cure and will instead volunteer for a suicide mission of sorts, before the greyscale turns him into a stone man.

-I can see Tyrion bonding with one of the dragons (Viserion perhaps) and getting to ride him. I think Rhaegal will be for Jon, as many fans have already predicted.

-The Wall falls in the finale, so the second half of S7 is devoted to the final battle with the Ice Zombies, and the (allegedly) bittersweet ending.

Awesome thoughts Morgy!

I was wondering one thing, Benjen says that the dead cannot pass the wall. But back in season 1 the wights attacked the Lord Commander in his quarters. Though those wights were inert at first, I always thought it was a trap. But maybe their inert state was caused by the walls magic, and only once they were past the wall, did they animate again.

Yeah, I doubt they could have passed under the Wall had they been undead in the first place. They were corpses at the time, and it took them time to "turn". I guess a White Walker touched them, but not the Night King- since he seems to raise the dead rather quickly.

Anyway, I think Bran's Night King mark has faded- but it's certainly been set up as the thing that will topple the Wall. I'm fairly certain that Bran will get chased by the Night King through the dream world at the end of season 7, and that's how the Wall topples. I'm also pretty sure Bran will be responsible for building the Wall in the first place (using his time-warg powers), so it'll be fitting if we see the Wall being built and collapsing in the same episode (season 7 finale- if there is a season 8 at all, which I think there will be).

Pretty sure he's not. I know it's a popular theory, though I've never been a fan of it, and I think the evidence doesn't support it.

Spoiler

I'm going out on a limb here (that never happens!) and guess that Jaime is going to get sick of his sister and join Tyrion. One or both of them can end up taking Cersei's life, but I think they will agree on it, whenever/whatever it may be. It's either that or join Brienne with the North and not sure I can see that happy ending. I don't see Jaime or Cersei making it to the end. I do think there is merit to Arya taking down Melly, as she foretold.

It would be quite poetic if Cersei wants to detonate the rest of the wildfire in Kings Landing and only Jaime can stop her.
If he were the one to kill the mad queen...oh man.

Yeah, Cersei has nothing to lose now that all her children are dead. She'll go full Aerys for sure, and Jaime will be forced to live that moment again, only this time he'll be killing his lover.

Also, back in season 2 the populace rioted. I would think nuking the cept and killing hundreds will leave a lot of the smallfolk displeased.

IF anything, it's not Tyrion but Jaime and Cersei, but I highly doubt the show will do it. The books might.
Why are we using spoiler code for speculation, y'all???

I forgot if I had read that in the pooks, just wanted to be careful. cerseiwatch

I really think we might see the collapse of House Lannister next season. The combined forces of Targaryens, Martells, Tyrells and Greyjoys are coming for Kings Landing. Heck, who says the new unified North might not throw in also?

Cersei will become the mad queen, and in ultimate poetic irony, Jaime might be the one to stop her. What will he do after? Kill himself? Or say fuck it and join Brianne?

Tinfoil hat time: Oldtown is spared from the showdown with the White Walkers. Sam remains there and becomes a maester. Stays with Gilly and raises little Sam. He'll later go on to write the whole story as he lived it, perhaps with the help of Bran to fill some gaps (about the WW, the Children, etc). The library having some astrolabiums like in the intro could mean more than just a wink.

ETA. After the fall of The Wall, the defeat of the WW, and the wildlings now living in the North, there's really no more need of a Night's Watch, so I think Sam will remain at Oldtown. I'm not sure if maesters were allowed to marry (I think not, since they don't allow women and children), but even then, he'll stay with Gilly for sure.

From one of Sophie's interviews it seems they're gonna do the whole Stark vs Stark thing, with Sansa feeling jealous of Jon and reconsidering LF as an ally. Bah, Sansa is just never gonna catch a break from fans.

Yeah seems most problems in the North are solved for now, till the WW come knockin.
Bran and Arya are both in the same continent as the other Starks, so more reunions could happen, but I think Arya's kill list is more a priority to her than family time.

Heh, I just realized going into season 7. House Baratheon, Bolton are extinct. House Tyrell is held by The Queen of Thorns, though she is a Redwyne and not a real Tyrell. And House Martell is ruled by Bastard Women.

Its gonna be so weird to read the pook and see these houses alive and well and on tedious journeys.

- Lots more Beric, pls, and not getting killed by Arya!

- Jon v Sansa sounds awwwwwful. Poor girl deserves to be happy. Be nice to see her fuck Littlefinger over, especially if she discovers that he's the reason why her family was destroyed. I expect Jon to end up as the new Night's King anyway.

- Can Euron die soon, pls

- Jamie killing Cersei must be some kind of canon at this stage?

- Question: If Bronn is still expecting his castle, pretty wife etc, what happened to Lollys?!

- Dany seems unstoppable, huge army and dragons. Methinks she needs to be taken down a notch.
One thought I have

Spoiler

_ As the new King In The North and former Lord Commander, he will be the one to reinforce the Night's watch, right? Jon knows what is coming, and that the Wall is the last protection the land has. Him shanghai-ing Northern armies might create conflict with the houses and Sansa. We shall see.

-Then again, Bran will probably fuck up and let the Night King in...nice one Bran.
